I follow the studio pottery tradition to produce small batch editions of useful and sculptural ware, using a wide variety of clay bodies, utilizing marks and glazes to explore surface and texture with variations of form and finish giving each piece a unique feature.

 

Applying an intuitive response to the material, my work is constantly evolving. Quiet form is enhanced by a palette of refined slips and my own blended glazes, and high fired to 1260°C for strength and durability.

Individual and related groups of work are often designed and made for specific place.
